Mabel Virginia Gluth, age 88, a lifetime area resident of Rensselaer, Indiana passed away on June 13, 2016 at the Rensselaer Care Center in Rensselaer, Indiana.
Mabel was born on July 27, 1927, in Buffalo, New York, the daughter of Harry Wagner and Mary (Allen) Wirth. Mabel worked at Peerless Dry Cleaners for 62 years, and was well known throughout the community. She was a member of the Church of the Nazarene. Mabel enjoyed spending time and making memories with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Mabel is survived by her loving children: son: Earl “Bud” (Anna) Gluth, daughter: Joan Gluth-Scott, and son: Harry Gluth, 14 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild, siblings: Shirley Mitchell & Curtis Anderson.
Mabel was proceeded in death by her parents, two brothers: Chuck and Robert Anderson, two sisters: Ella Eaton & Genevieve Yeoman, daughter: Mary Ann Fleming, grandson: Jeffery Fleming.
A memorial service will be held at the Church of the Nazarene in Rensselear, Indiana on Friday, June 17, 2016 at 5:00 p.m.
Cremation services were entrusted with the Boersma Funeral Home, Wheatfield, Indiana.
