Amelia C Knapp

76 year old, Amelia C. Knapp, of Brook, passed away July 22, 2010 in her home with her loving family around her.

On September 23, 1933, she was born to Refugio and Victoria (nee: Alonzo) Flores in Chicago, Illinois. On September 23, 1989, she married Ray Knapp in Crown Point, Indiana. She was a nurse’s aid at Munster Community Hospital for 16 years.

Amelia is survived by her loving husband, Ray, and children: Vickie Turner, Joann Mowery, Nancy (James) Brown, Jason Turner, 3 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents and 1 sister.

Boersma Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Per Ameila’s wishes cremation has taken place.
