Andrew 'Andy' Mackall

34 year old, Andrew ‘Andy’ Mackall, of Hobart, passed away as a result of a tragic motorcycle accident on June 24, 2023.

Andy was born on April 14, 1989 in Valparaiso, Indiana, to Craig and Linda (Webber) Mackall. Andy was a crane operator for Local 150 Operators Union, who worked at Cleveland Cliffs Steel mill. He was an avid fisherman, enjoyed riding his motorcycles & watching race cars, and especially enjoyed tinkering in his garage. Andy had a huge heart, and he loved to spend time with his nieces and nephews.

Andy is survived by his mother: Linda Mackall, siblings: Tim (Jodie) Bennett, Nick Mackall, Katherine (Sean) Rice, Keith Mackall, Gary (Tasha) Nava, grandparents: Bill (Nancy) Webber, Joyce Northcutt, Donna Ziegler, and many nieces and nephews.

Andy was preceded in death by his father: Craig Mackall, and grandfathers: Terry Mackall, and Wendell Northcutt.

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 3:00 until 5:00 p.m. on Friday, June 30, 2023 at the Boersma Funeral Home, 90 East Grove Street, Wheatfield, Indiana. Services for Andy will take place at the funeral home on Friday evening at 5:00 p.m.

Per Andy’s wishes, cremation will take place.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or American Heart Association.
