Audrey V. "Snick" Veden

83 year old, Audrey V. “Snick” Veden of Wheatfield, passed away February 25, 2012.

On August 28, 1928, ‘Snick’ was born to Earl and Lillian (nee: Bailey) Whited in Kouts, Indiana. ‘Snick’ graduated from Tefft High School and was a lifetime area resident who enjoyed being a homemaker. She married Ernest Veden on March 28, 1948, who preceded her in death in 1995.

‘Snick’ is survived by her children: Catherine (Gerald) Smith, Sharon (James) Irizarry, and Rob (Bonnie) Veden, 7 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Siblings: Richard (Edna) Whited, Nellie (the late Roger) Sculley, and Alice (the late Bill) Whited.

‘Snick’ was preceded in death by her parents, 1 grandson: Christian Stayrook, Siblings: Lula, Cop, Gladys, Geneva, Jerry, Bill, Bob and George.

A private family gathering will take place on Saturday, March 3, 2012.

Boersma Funeral Home, 90 East Grove St., Wheatfield, is in charge of the arrangements.
