Barbara Kendrick

75 year old, Barbara Kendrick, passed away June 8, 2008. On February 24, 1933, she was born in Hammond, Indiana to Frenchie and Margaret (nee: Barrum) Francoeur. On December 10, 1977, Barbara married Dwight Kendrick in Schererville.

Barbara enjoyed being a housewife.

Barbara is survived by her loving husband, Dwight Kendrick, children: Denise (Michael) Gibson, Doug (Maggie) Hewlett, Margie (Jeff) Barton, Mike (Veronica) Hewlett, grandchildren: Hannah Barton, Rachel Gibson, Rebecca (Jason) Phipps, Kaley Gibson, Susan (Rick) Runge, Carrie (Michael) Hall, April Hewlett, and Daniel Hewlett and 4 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are brothers and sisters: Nadine Sankowsky, Phyllis (Ron) Roderick, Wilma Hatch, Dennis (Diane) Francoeur, and Jerry Francoeur.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, son, Paul Hewlett, and sister, Maxine Maier.

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 11, 2008, at the Boersma Funeral Home, 90 East Grove St., Wheatfield, Indiana.

Services for Barbara will take place at 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 11, 2008, at Boersma Funeral Home, with Pastor _____ officiating.

Interment will take place at a later time.
