Barbara E Moore

86 year old, Barbara E. Moore, of Rensselaer, passed away on March 5, 2025, in Winamac, Indiana.

On March 14, 1938, Barbara was born to Leslie and Freda (Dye) Taylor, in Kentland, Indiana. Barbara graduated from Rensselaer High School. She married the love of her life, Victor J. Moore, on May 19, 1957, in Rensselaer, Indiana. Barbara owned the Sears catalog store in Rensselaer, and worked as the assessor for Marion Township. She was a member of the Eastern Star, and an avid Hummel collector. Barbara and her husband, Victor, spent their lives enjoyed travelling the world.

Barbara is survived by her sister: Joyce Antcliff, nephews: Richie (Tina) Moore, Jeff Moore, great-nephew: Collin (Paige Shaffer) Moore, and her other nieces, nephew, great-nieces and great-nephews of the Taylor side of the family

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, husband: Victor, brothers: Raymond Taylor and Robert Taylor, and sister: Janice Dazey.

Per Barbara’s wishes cremation will take place.

A graveside service for Barbara will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, August 22, 2025 at Memory Gardens Cemetery, 8435 IN-114, Rensselaer, IN 47978.
