87 year old, Betty Jane Arnett, of Rensselaer, passed away January 25, 2021.
On March 3, 1933, Betty was born to William and Marie (Howard) Rowe in Salyersville, Magoffin County, Kentucky. Betty loved to garden, cook, and can. She worked at Schumacher Electric of Rensselaer for 37 years, and she was a member of the Victory Baptist Church of Roselawn.
Betty is survived by her children: Carlen (Eldon) Sizemore, Keith (Juanita) Arnett, Annetta (Paul) Knoebel, 13 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren, and sister: Yvonne Arnett.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents, sons: James Richard Arnett, & Daniel Arnett, daughter: Pamela Arnett, three brothers: Andrew Rowe, Woodrow Rowe, & Lonzo Rowe, sisters: Ella Sue Arnett, Nella Lou Manns, Dixie Evelyn Adams, Mary Brown, Sarah Elkins, and Martha Gilbert.
Friends are invited to visit with the family from 9:00 am until 12:00 pm (noon) on Saturday, January 30, 2021 at the Boersma Funeral Home, 90 East Grove St., Wheatfield, Indiana.
Services for Betty will take place at the funeral home at 12:00 pm (noon) on Saturday, with Pastor Ballard Lewis officiating. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery, Rensselaer, Indiana.
In lieu of flowers memorials are asked for St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
