Betty Lee Prater

65 year old, Betty Lee Prater of Medaryville, passed away May 17, 2018.

On January 28, 1953 in Lake Village, Indiana, Betty was born to Melvon ‘Andy’ and Julia ‘Judy’ (White) Eaton. Betty was a homemaker who loved family.

Betty is survived by her children: Julie (Berry) Baker, and Nicholas Prater and his special friend: Shannon Gasaway, 3 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren. Betty is also survived by her sisters: Melissa ‘Sue’ Sommers and Lori Charlesworth.

Betty was preceded in death by husband: Ralph, sister: Judy Kay Shaffer, and her parents.

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Monday, May 21, 2018 at Boersma Funeral Home, 90 East Grove St., Wheatfield, Indiana. Services for Betty will take place at the funeral home on Monday night at 7:30 p.m. with Pastor Rick Prater officiating.

Following cremation, Betty’s ashes will be interred at DeMotte Cemetery.
