Betty Ann Seals

94 year old, Betty Ann Seals, of Monticello, passed away on May 20, 2026.

On July 31, 1931, Betty was born to James Weeks and Alma (Neese) McNeil , in Hammond, Indiana. She graduated from Lowell High School. Betty was married to the love of her life, Claude J. Seals Sr., on August 27, 1960, in Lake Charles, Louisiana. She was a homemaker, a Betty Boop who kept her family covered in love. Betty loved to sew, bake, and do crafts.

Betty is survived by her children: Claude (Debra) Seals Jr., Theresa (George) Buckalew, Luci Lewis, Linda Seals, 11 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild, and siblings: Ann Backe, and Chuck McNeil.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents, husband: Claude Sr., sons: John Weeks, Lee Mancuso, grandsons: Mario Lewis, Christopher Lewis, son-in-law: Bob Lewis, brothers: William Krieter, Bill Virgin, and 4 sisters.

Per Betty’s wishes cremation will take place.

A Graveside Service for Betty will be held at a later date, to lay her to rest with Claude.
