Beulah Mae Risner

85 year old, Beulah Mae (Stepp) Risner passed away January 28, 2007 at Pulaski Health Care Center, Winamac, Indiana.  Beulah was born March 29, 1921 in Magoffin County, Kentucky, she was the first born to Leonard and Dollie Mae (nee: Carty) Stepp.  Beulah first married Justus Salyers in Salyersville, Kentucky, from this union one daughter was born, Norma Jean (Salyer-Pullin) who married Robert McCurdy.  On June 18, 1939, in Rensselaer, Indiana, Beulah married Raymond Risner, the son of Elza and Pearlie (nee: Spradlin) Risner.  From this union 3 children were born:  Elsie M. (nee: Risner) Beiswanger, Raymond L. (Buddy and Joyce) Risner, and Shannon L. (Carol) Risner.  She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild, 2 sisters: Helen and the late (Prentice) Banks and Phyliss and the late (Fred) Jungles, and 2 brothers:  Richard (Donna) Stepp and Leonard Jr. (Mary) Stepp.

Beulah was preceded in death by her husband, parents, 2 sisters: Ulagene Stepp and Vera Francis Wayne, and 2 brothers:  John Baptiste, and Lindberg Stepp, 1 granddaughter, Robin Beiswanger.

Friends are invited to visit with the family on Wednesday, January 31, 2007 from 3:00 until 7:00 P.M. (CST) at the Boersma Funeral Home, 90 East Grove Street, Wheatfield, Indiana.  Services will be held on Thursday, February 1, 2007, at 10:00 A.M. at the Boersma Funeral Home with Rev. Roger Sculley officiating.  Interment will follow at the Wheatfield Cemetery.
