Bonnie Molenaar

Bonnie Lou Molenaar, 72, of Rensselaer, passed away May 6, 2026.

On April 3, 1954, Bonnie was born to Carlos and Lorraine (Akers) Gross in Rensselaer, Indiana. She worked as a shipping lead at Donaldson’s. Bonnie enjoyed gardening, watching TV, Yatzee, Bingo, antique shopping, and yard sales. She was happiest when surrounded by her family and loved ones.

Bonnie is survived by her children: Buddy (Kati) Wicker, Carlos (Stacey) Wicker, Lance (Sam) Crownover, Cody Molenaar, Colt (Janna) Molenaar, 9 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren.

Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents, husband: Ron Molenaar, brothers: Carl Gross, Terry Dean Gross, John Gross, Donald Gross, and sisters: Connie Williams, and Tammy Cain.

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Tuessday, May 12, 2026, at the Boersma Funeral Home, 90 East Grove Street, Wheatfield, Indiana. Services for Bonnie will be held at 7:00 p.m. with Charlie Swope officiating.

Bonnie will be laid to rest next to her husband Ron at the Fair Oaks Cemetery at a later time.
