Bonnie K Roberts

83 year old, Bonnie Kay Roberts, of DeMotte, passed away August 3, 2026, at home with her loving family around her.

On February 8, 1943, Bonnie was born to Daniel and Hazel (Wilson) Nelson, in East Chicago, Indiana. She married the love of her life, Donald Roberts, on August 27, 1960, in Highland, Indiana. Bonnie was a member of the Redeemer Church of Roselawn. She enjoyed reading, and crochet.

Bonnie is survived by her loving husband: Donald, children: Don Roberts, Arlene Roberts, 6 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild, and brother: Donald ‘Jack’ (Lorraine) Nelson.

Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents, sons: Steven Roberts, Brian Roberts, granddaughter: Sarah Richardson, grandsons: Kevin Roberts, Nicholas Roberts, and sister: Phyllis McBride.

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. on Monday, August, 10, 2026, at the Redeemer Church of Roselawn, 5417 East State Road 10, DeMotte, Indiana. Funeral Services for Bonnie will be held at 12:00 p.m. at the church, with Pastor Joel Gilbert officiating. Interment will follow at the Roselawn Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Redeemer Church for the Shoebox Ministry.
