Brad Alan Recker

49 year old, Brad Alan Recker, of Knox, formerly of DeMotte, passed away April 15, 2021.

On October 2, 1971, Brad was born to Roger Recker and Donna (Poisel) Mier, in Valparaiso, Indiana. Brad was a GM automotive sales manager. He was an avid baseball fan as well as an all-star pitcher for the Kankakee Valley Kougars. He was inducted into the KV Baseball Hall of Fame in 2009. Brad was an animal lover, who spent his time with his beloved companion, dog Rueben and his cat Clayton.

Brad is survived by his father: Roger Recker, mother: Donna (John) Mier, sisters: Brenda (Greg) Johnson, and Darlene Recker.

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Monday, April 26, 2021, at First Church, Wheatfield, Indiana. A Celebration of Life service will take place at 6:15 p.m. Monday, April 26, 2021.
