Carla S Hudak

76 year old, Carla S. Hudak, of Rensselaer, passed away November 8, 2022, at her home with her loving family around her.

On July 23, 1946, Carla was born in Chicago, Illinois, to Walter Sr. and Virginia (Bryson) Brunke. Carla married the love of her life, Paul Hudak Sr., on April 5, 1997, in Jasper County, Indiana. She loved to be outside in the garden, flowers, reading, drinking coffee, traveling and painting. She especially enjoyed her puppies, Maxwell and Nene.

Carla is survived by her husband: Paul, children: Darrell (Karen) Hunt, Patricia Hunt, Crystal (Todd) Cliborne, Stephanie Tincher, Tonya Foster, Jamie (Jay) Hobson, Paul Hudak Jr., Drew (Erica) Hudak, 25 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, and siblings: Walter Brunke Jr., Mary Mackey, Patricia (Richard) Simmons.

Carla was preceded in death by her parents, sisters: Dodie, Margaret, & Joyce, brother: Dicky.

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 3:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 10, 2022 at the Boersma Funeral Home, 90 E. Grove St., Wheatfield, Indiana. Services for Carla will take place at the funeral home on Friday, November 11, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. with Father Joshua Bennett. Interment will follow at the Roselawn Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the family.
