72 year old, Carson J. Cochran, of Wheatfield, passed away January 14, 2022.
On February 4, 1949, Carson was born to Newman and Bessie (Williamson) Cochran in Goodman, West Virginia. Carson graduated high school and attended trade school. He was a millwright at LTV Steel in East Chicago, Indiana. He married the love of his life, Naomi Jean (Fugett) Cochran on April 4, 1970, in Borderland, West Virginia. Carson like to turn wrenches, and work on cars.
Carson is survived by his loving family, wife: Naomi, sons: Nick (fiance’ – Tanya) Cochran, Adam (Amy) Cochran, Carson ‘CJ’ (fiance’ – Brandie) Cochran, Jeremy Cochran, 10 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, 8 sisters: Diana Carter, Dottie May, Rita Marcum, Dona Zank, Foretta Boldt, Tammy Braham, Vicki Cochran, Kristi Cochran, and Billy Cochran.
Carson was preceded in death by his parents, great-grandson: Kolt Lee Jackson, and sister: Sondria Clay.
Friends are invited to visit with the family from 3:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 20, 2022 at the Boersma Funeral Home, Wheatfield, Indiana. Funeral Services for Carson will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, January 21, 2022 at Boersma Funeral Home with Pastor Larry Fugett officiating. Interment will follow at the Kankakee Township Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorials are requested for St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
