Charles Armstrong

81 year old, Charles Armstrong of Okeechobee, Florida, formerly of Wheatfield, passed away July 21, 2013 at his home in Florida.

On June 10, 1932 Charles was born to Charles G. & Agnes (nee: Petory) Armstrong in Rensselaer, Indiana. In May of 1953 he married the love of his life Phyllis Jean Button. Charles worked in the construction field as a drywall worker.

Charles is survived by: wife: Phyllis Jean Armstrong, children: Steven (Lisa) Armstrong, Terri Armstrong, Mike (Emily) Armstrong, Jim (Kim) Armstrong, Karena (Bush) Alvarez and many grandchildren.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents, daughters: Lori Armstrong, and Pamela Sue Armstrong.

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 25, 2013 at the Boersma Funeral Home, 90 E Grove St., Wheatfield. Services for Charles will take place at the funeral home at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 25, 2013. Interment will follow at the Wheatfield Cemetery.
