Charles A Hall

96 year old, Charles A. Hall of DeMotte, passed away May 31, 2009. On August 8, 1912, Charles was born to Charles E. and Vennia (nee: Mott) Hall in Skidmore, Missouri. On December 7, 1938, Charles married Margaret (nee: Ernzen, who preceded him in death). Charles was an Operating Engineer with the Local 150. He was a member of the F & A M Lodge 735 in Griffith, he was also a past master of this lodge, a member of the Low 12 Club, and Scottish Rite Valley in South Bend.

He is survived by his daughter: Margaret & William Smith, son: J. Charles & Dianna Hall, 7 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife: Margaret, and 2 sisters: Ethel Flanagan and Hattie Merritt, 3 brothers: Lee Hall, Edward Hall and Don Hall.

Friends are invited to visit with the family on Wednesday, June 3, 2009 from 3:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the Boersma Funeral Home, 90 East Grove St., Wheatfield, Indiana. A Masonic Service will take place during the visitation at 7:00 p.m. Services for Charles will take place on Thursday, June 4, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home, with Pastor David Snyder officiating. Entombment will take place at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens.
