Chris James McCorkel

18 year old, Christopher James McCorkel, of Winamac, passed away July 16, 2018.

On November 11, 1999, Chris was born to Christopher Bailey and Michelle (McDaniels) McCorkel. Chris worked construction for M & N Builders. He loved hunting, fishing and family. Chris especially loved to scrounge for all sorts of garage & yard sale bargains to create all types of treasures. Chris was extremely patriotic too.

Christopher is survived by his loving family: mother: Michelle (McDaniels) Chad McCorkel, father: Christopher Bailey, siblings: Dovie McCorkel and Chase McCorkel, grandparents: Marvin McDaniels, Janet Lovely & Russell Patton, Hank Bailey, Norman McCorkel, Great-grandma: Gigi Lovely, many Aunts & Uncles, and cousins.

Christopher was preceded in death by his grandparents: Peggy McDaniels, Linda McCorkel and great-grandpa: Charles Lovely.

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 19, 2018 at the Boersma Funeral Home, 90 East Grove St., Wheatfield, Indiana. Services for Christopher will take place on Friday, July 20, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home, with Pastor Mike Denny officiating, interment will follow at the Wheatfield Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the family.
