Christopher 'Chris' Dufresne

59 year old, Christopher ‘Chris’ Dufresne, of Wheatfield, passed away May 11, 2026.

On July 27, 1966, Chris was born to Melvin ‘Mickey’ and Carole (Lesne) Dufresne in Gary, Indiana. Chris was a mechanic who loved to work on cars. He liked to fix cars, and drag race. He enjoyed going camping, and loved animals, dogs especially. He also liked to drag race snow mobiles.

Chris is survived by his loving family: daughters: Mia Dufresne (fiancé Tyler Tillema), Izabella Dufresne, parents: Mickey & Carole Dufresne and sister: Cathy Dufresne.

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 3:00 until 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 14, 2026, at the Boersma Funeral Home, 90 E Grove St., Wheatfield, Indiana. A Family and Friends Service will take place at 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home Thursday evening.

Per Chris’ wishes cremation will follow.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
