Claude W Odle

75 year old, Claude W. Odle, of Rensselaer, passed away October 14, 2020.

Claude was born on June 6, 1945 to Charles and Lora (VanDusen) Odle. He married the love of his life, Peggy Sue Gilbert in Gary, Indiana. He worked for Mudhog Corporation as a fabricator. Claude liked to make walking sticks and camping and caring for his goats. He enjoyed fishing and hunting deer, and  turkeys.

Claude is survived by his family: wife: Peggy Sue, son: David Odle, grandson: Brett Odle, siblings: Verna (Ted) Whited, Vernon (Donna) Odle, Dan (Connie) Odle, and many nieces and nephews.

Claude was preceded in death by his parents, son: Claude, brothers: Charles Jr., Delbert, sisters: Patricia Davis, and Pamela Lawrence.

Per Claude’s wishes cremation will take place and a celebration of life will take place at a later date.

Boersma Funeral Home of Wheatfield has been entrusted with these arrangements.
