74 year old, Clifford Clay Martin, of Wheatfield passed away July 8, 2018.

On September 23, 1943, Cliff was born to Charles and Leona (Clark) Martin in Hammond, Indiana. Cliff was a Boone Grove High School graduate, and Purdue University. He was a Journeyman by trade through the IBEW Local #668. He retired in 2005 after 42 years. On January 10, 1965, Cliff married the love of his life, Donna Martin at the Boone Grove Christian Church. Cliff attended the Kankakee Valley Christian Church, and was a member of the Hebron Masonic Lodge #502, Scottish Rite South Bend Valley, Orak Shrine Michigan City, Hebron Lion’s Club, Hebron Chamber of Commerce, Porter County Fair Board, Porter County Board of Health, Porter Township School Board, and he enjoyed traveling and singing at many health care facilities throughout the countryside as Cliff ‘TweeT’ Martin Music Ministries.

Cliff is survived by his loving family: wife: Donna, sons: Russell (Stacie) Martin, John (Valerie) Martin, 9 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren, siblings: Walter (Lorraine) Martin, Leona Martin, sister-in-law: Deloris Martin.

Cliff was preceded in death by his parents, daughter: Kristine Leona Martin, brother: Charles Martin.

Friends are invited to visit with the family on Friday, July 13, 2018 from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. with a 7:00 p.m. Masonic Service, at the Boersma Funeral Home, 90 East Grove St., Wheatfield, Indiana. Services for Cliff will take place on Saturday, July 14, 2018 at the funeral home at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Tim Carey and Rev. Chris Dodson officiating. Interment will follow at Kankakee Township Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family or K. V. Christian Church.
