Corrine J. Recker

88 year old, Corrine Recker of DeMotte, passed away December 4, 2021.

On September 20, 1933, Corrine was born to John and Ida (Schaafsma) Van Dyke, in Beecher, Illinois. She graduated from Grant Park High School, in Illinois. She married the love of her life William J. Recker, on October 3, 1954, in Momence, Illinois. Corrine worked at Sunrise Cleaners in DeMotte, for 30+ years. She was a member of the First Christian Reformed Church of DeMotte.

Corrine is survived by her children: daughter: Bonnie (Ike) Hoffman, sons: William G. (Debra) Recker, Garry (Cari) Recker, 8 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren, and sister: Joan (David) Schiller.

Corrine was preceded in death by her husband: Bill (2012), son: Jeffrey John Recker (1971), great-grandson: Reid Karlowsky (2014), siblings: Beverly Roberts, Jack Van Dyke, John Van Dyke.

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 3:00 until 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at the First Christian Reformed Church of DeMotte, with services taking place at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday with Pastor Jim Alblas officiating. Graveside services will take place Wednesday, December 8, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Holland Cemetery.
