Cynthia Hammett

65 year old, Cynthia Lee Hammett, of Chicago, passed away March 11, 2023.

Cynthia was born on August 1, 1957, to James Harold Hammett and Veronica (Sokol) Hammett-Stahl, in Chicago, Illinois. Cynthia graduated from high school in Chicago, and worked at Jewel for 30+ years until she retired last August. She attended St. Gabriel’s Catholic Church, in Chicago, Illinois. She was an extremely hard worker. She was funny and so kind always helpful and caring. Cynthia loved traveling and spending time with her family and friends. She loved her Tv soaps. She will be truly missed by all.

Cynthia is survived by her son: Paul (Holly) Wiedenhoft, grandchildren: Ivy, Iris, & Damien, sibings: Ricky, Marianne, Mike & Frank, and many nieces and nephews.

Cynthia was preceded in death by her parents, foster parents: Frank P. Madea & Mary Lou Madea, and siblings: Terry and Debbie.

Per Cynthia’s wishes cremation will take place and a Celebration of Life is being planned for a later date.
