Darlene Hope (Devine) Valenzuela

71 year old, Darlene Hope (Devine) Valenzuela, of DeMotte, passed away April 27, 2024, at her home.

On February 6, 1953, in Bloomington, Illinois, Darlene was born to William and Dorothy (Myers) Devine. She graduated from high school. Darlene enjoyed being a homemaker. She liked to crochet, and was an avid reader. Darlene especially enjoyed the Arts: music, coloring, and The Eagles Band.

Darlene is survived by her children: Bobby Valenzuela, Sam (Scott) Cochran, Amanda ‘Mandi’ Childers, 8 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren, and one sister: Kimmy Wilkinson.

Darlene was preceded in death by her parents, and three siblings: Mary, Patty, and Donny.

Per Darlene’s wishes cremation will take place.
