David E. Travis

David E. Travis, 69 years old, of San Pierre passed away November 2, 2017.

David was born on September 1, 1948 to Minor and Margie (Eldridge) Travis in Huntsville, Alabama. David worked for Meade Electric and in later years for the Hamstra Group. He loved spending time with his animals especially his horses and dog, Irys.

David is survived by his children: Matt Travis, Rachel (Larry) Follrad, grandchildren: Lyndsay, Hannah, Toby, Lena, Brooke, mother: Margie Travis, siblings: Janice (Ronald) DeLoach, Hilda Travis, and several nieces & nephew and special friend and faithful companion his dog: Irys.

David was preceded in death by his father: Minor Travis, and sister: Kathy Ferguson.

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at Boersma Funeral Home, 90 East Grove St., Wheatfield, Indiana.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the family.
