Della M Fritts

78 year old, Della M. Fritts, passed away April 23, 2011.

On July 5, 1932, Della was born to the late Milo and Ethel (nee: Knopf) Pelton in Crown Point, Indiana. She attended Crown Point Schools and married Eugene Fritts on February 25, 1950 at Sorrowful Mother Catholic Church in Wheatfield. Della ran a fabric shop for many years and retired in 2000.

Surviving are her children:

Christine (Jerry) Ritter, Steve (Sharon) Fritts, Donna (Greg) Allen, Marilyn (Mike) Rust, and Ruth Ann (Greg) Myers, 8 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren. Also, surviving are sisters: Shirley (Chuck) Sweney, & Judy (Tom) Kish and brother: Hiram Pelton and special friend: George Roorda

Della was preceded in death by her husband Eugene, and son David.

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 2:00 until 8:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 26, 2011, at Boersma Funeral Home, 90 East Grove St., Wheatfield, Indiana. 

Funeral Mass will take place on Wednesday, April 27, 2011, at 10:00 a.m. at Sorrowful Mother Catholic Church of Wheatfield, with Father Alejandro Paternoster officiating. Interment will take place at the Cemetery of the Resurrection, DeMotte, Indiana.
