Dixie J. Smith
67 year old, Dixie J. Smith of Wheatfield passed away March 11, 2014, at her home with her loving family around her.
On November 16, 1946, Dixie was born to Clarence Tucker and Gerri (Woodruff) Tucker-Kersey. Dixie married the love of her life, Robert E. Smith on December 24, 1969. Dixie loved being a housewife.
Dixie is survived by her husband: Robert, children: Myra Zane (Duane) Waldrop, DeeDee Smith-Smart (Charlie), Bobby (Krista) Smith, her father: Clarence, 8 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, 2 sisters: Lisa & April, and 2 brothers: Tony & Johnny.
Dixie was preceded in death by her mother Gerri, sister: Myra “Mikie” Tucker, and son-in-law: Jamie Robinson.
Friends are invited to visit with the family from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Friday, March 14, 2014 at Boersma Funeral Home, 90 East Grove St., Wheatfield, Indiana.
Per Dixie’s wishes cremation will take place.
