Edith Cooper

71 year old, Edith F. Cooper of DeMotte, passed away April 14, 2010.

On January 13, 1939, Edith was born in Rensselaer, Indiana to John O. and Mattie E. (nee: Harris) Selby. Edith was a cashier at Marathon Station for 10 years.

She is survived by her children: Darrell L. (Wendy) Cooper, and Cynthia (William) Heilman, and 9 grandchildren, sister Anna R. Arndt and brother Larry (Sue) Selby.

Edith was preceded in death by her parents, John O. and Mattie E. Selby, 3 brothers, James C., Robert C., Richard L., 1 sister, Ruby E. Wicker.

Friends are invited to visit with the family on Friday, April 16, 2010, from 2:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Boersma Funeral Home, 90 East Grove St., Wheatfield, Indiana. Services for Edith will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 17, 2010 at the funeral home with Pastor Dennis Ramsey with interment in DeMotte Cemetery following.
