Edith Jane Sullivan

87 year old, Edith ‘Jane’ Sullivan, of Wheatfield, passed away November 10, 2021 at home, with her loving family around her.

On October 18, 1934, Jane was born to Lowell and Ada (Stowell) Dionne, in Leroy, Indiana. Jane was a lifetime area resident. She married the love of her life, Walter L. ‘Roy’ Sullivan on January 16, 1954, at the Mt. Ayre Church of God, Mt. Ayre, Indiana. She liked to sing, play games, dice, cards, and aggravation.

Jane is survived by her children: Debbie (Jim) Crane, Sheryl (Art) Peterson, Sandy (Steve) Garvey, Wayne Sullivan, 9 grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren.

Jane was preceded in death by her husband: Roy, parents: Lowell & Ada, grandsons: Ryan Crane, Todd Crane, siblings: Lola Howard, Mary Ellen Jones, Betty Lorraine Odle, Dolores Odle, and Grace Nemeth, and son-in-law: Michael Smiejek.

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 12:00 until 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 14, 2021, at Boersma Funeral Home, 90 E. Grove St., Wheatfield, Indiana. Services for Jane will take place at the funeral home at 4:00 p.m. with Pastor Kenny Patrick officiating. Graveside services for Jane will be held on Monday, November 15, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at Memory Gardens Cemetery, Rensselaer, Indiana.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Riley’s Children’s Hospital.
