Elizabeth Mae Fair

84 year old Elizabeth Mae Fair of DeMotte, passed away August 11, 2008. On April 18, 1924, she was born in Manhattan, IL, to William and Alpha Mae (nee: Fry) Fair. She was employed as a bookkeeper for Commonwealth Edison. She was a member of the American Reformed Church.

She is survived by nephews and neices: Eugene (Gene) & Kathy Veld, Roger & Gloria Veld, Margaret & Alan Menninger, Gerrit & Sylvia Blink, and Clarence & Donna Blink, one sister: Mildred Bobak, one brother-in-law: Bernard Veld, and many great-nieces and nephews also survive.

Elizabeth Mae was preceded in death by her parents, brother Clarence Fair and sister Evelyn Veld.

Friends are invited to visit with the family on Saturday, August 16, 2008, from 9:00 until 11:00 a.m. at the American Reformed Church Fireside Room, in DeMotte. Services for Elizabeth Mae Fair will take place on Saturday, August 16, 2008, at 11:00 a.m. at American Reformed Church with Pastors George and Joyce McGee officiating. Interment will take place at the Manhattan Center Cemetery Manhattan, Illinois.
