Elsie B Jones

87 year old, Elsie B. Jones, of Lafayette, formerly of Buffalo, and Wheatfield, Indiana passed away January 31, 2026 with her loving family around her.

On January 3, 1939, in Belleview, Missouri, Elsie was born to James and Gladys Nash. Elsie married the love of her life, Houston D. Jones. Elsie loved reading, sewing, and making quilts. She also liked to cook and garden.

Elsie is survived by her children, Charles (Heather) Jones, James (Monica) Jones, Phillip (Simone) Jones, Dawn (Raymond) Graham, 8 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild on the way. She is also survived by her siblings: Frank (Kaye) Nash, Henry (Sharon) Nash, Nancy Lands, Iva (James) Buchanan, and Lonnie (Evelyn) Nash.

Elsie was preceded in death by her husband: Houston, parents: James & Gladys, infants: James L Nash, Shirley Mae Nash, siblings: Ervin Nash, Danny Nash, Dolly (Harold) White, and John Lands.

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 3:00 until 6:00 p.m. (CST) on February 6, 2026, at Boersma Funeral Home, 90 E. Grove St., Wheatfield, Indiana. Services will take place on Friday evening at 6:00 p.m. (CST) at the funeral home. Graveside will take place on Saturday, February 7, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. (CST) at the Wheatfield Cemetery.
