Elsie J Pollard

84 year old, Elsie J. Pollard of Rensselaer, formerly of Hebron, passed away February 2, 2020 at her home.

On February 12, 1935 Elsie was born to John and Edith (Tyler) Molden in Lexington, Illinois. On November 20, 1954 she married Loren Pollard (who preceded her) in Crown Point, Indiana. Elsie loved being a Mom, Grandma, and Great-grandmother. She was a member of the Dolly Parton fan club. She worked at Kingma's Produce for over 30 years.

Elsie is survived by her loving family: children: Rick LaPradd, Rowena (Richard) Hebda, DeLoren (Robin) Pollard, and Rockey (Deanise) Pollard, 9 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and siblings: Cecil (MaryAnn) Molden, Russel Molden, Bill Molden, Len (Pam) Molden, Fred (Kathy) Molden, Charlotte (Roy) Randolph, and Dottie (Wayne) Mayhew.

Elsie was preceded in death by her husband: Loren Pollard, parents: John & Edith Molden, great-grandson: Hunter Hebda, brother: Orbie, Ernie, Henry, Lester ‘Pug’, and Frank, sisters: Helen McElroy, Carol Woodruff, Juanita Kesee, and Mary DeVries.

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 5th, 2020 at the Boersma Funeral Home, 90 East Grove St., Wheatfield, Indiana. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 6th, 2020 at the Holland Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Dolly Parton's Imagination Library or Riley Children’s Hospital.

I am so sorry for your loss. I will pray for Elsie's soul and the family. I know how you are feeling, my Mom passed away Nov. 19,19.
