Eugene Fritts

76 year old, Eugene C. Fritts of DeMotte, passed away Wednesday, July 26, 2006, at Crestmark of Roselawn.  On February 23, 1930, he was born to Carl L. and Lillie (nee: Miller) Fritts in DeMotte, Indiana.  On February 25, 1950, Eugene married the love of his life, Della Pelton.  Eugene was a farmer and a member of Sorrowful Mother Catholic Church of Wheatfield. 

Surviving along with his wife Della are Steve ( Sharon ) Fritts, Donna ( Greg ) Allen, Christine ( Jerry ) Ritter, Marilyn (Mike) Rust, Ruth Ann ( Greg ) Myers, 8 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, sisters, Mary Ann ( Thomas ) Harvey-Greenberg, Margaret ( Don ) Steinke, brothers, Jack ( Kathy ) Fritts, Dr. James ( Marilyn ) Fritts, and Thomas ( Barbara ) Fritts.

Eugene was preceded in death by his parents, brother Michael, and son David.

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 2:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, July 28, 2006, at the Boersma Funeral Home, 90 East Grove St. Wheatfield, IN.  Services for Eugene C. Fritts will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 29, 2006, at Sorrowful Mother Catholic Church of Wheatfield, IN. with Father Paternoster officiating.  Interment will be at the Cemetery of the Resurrection.
