Eva Brewster

93 year old, Eva Brewster, of Wheatfield, passed away July 16, 2025, at Avalon Springs Health Campus, Valparaiso, Indiana.

On January 30, 1932, in Wheatfield, Indiana, Eva was born to William E and Eva (Freel) Van Dusen. Eva married the love of her life, Devere Brewster, on March 19, 1950. She was a farmer/homemaker. She always had a beautiful garden and she loved birds.

Eva is survived by her loving family.

Eva was preceded in death by her husband: Devere, son: Mike Brewster, infant children: David and Susan, and siblings: William E. Van Dusen, Elsie Platz, and Joyce Risso.

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 22, 2025, at the Boersma Funeral Home, 90 East Grove St., Wheatfield, Indiana. Services will take place at the funeral home, Tuesday evening at 6:30 p.m. with Pastor William Taylor officiating. Graveside burial will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 23, 2025 at DeMotte Cemetery.
