Frances Ernestine Robinson

Frances Ernestine ‘Ernie’ Robinson of Wheatfield, passed away April 20, 2017 at VNA Hospice with her loving family around her.

On April 15, 1930 in Rushville, Indiana, Ernie was born on to William T. and Lottie M. (Gribbons) Jarboe. Ernie married the love of her life Vernon Robinson on June 18, 1949 in Gary, Indiana. Ernie worked for many years as a cook at Kankakee Valley High School retiring in 2004.

Ernie is survived by her loving family: husband: Vernon, children: Deborah Kay (Garry) Malinoff, Karen Sue (Dan) Lewis, Sharon Lou (Greg) Pruis, and Terry Wayne (Debra) Robinson, 4 grandchildren: Jennifer Lynn Malinoff, Christopher Scott Malinoff, Jeffery L. (Emily) Pruis, Amanda R. (Tom) Crawford, 3+ great-grandchildren: Tyler Scott Malinoff, Ella Pruis, Natalie Crawford and one on the way, brother: Don Jarboe.

Ernie was preceded in death by her parents: 5 sisters & 5 brothers, several nieces and nephews.

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 2:00 until 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 23, 2017 at Boersma Funeral Home, 90 East Grove St., Wheatfield, Indiana.
