Frank Allyn Cockrell

78 year old, Frank Allyn Cockrell, of DeMotte passed away September 12, 2008.  On September 3, 1930, he was born in Greencastle, Indiana to Frank and Monta (nee: VanHook) Cockrell.  On April 25 1953 he married the love of his life Eva Haworth. Frank was employed as a truck driver. Frank served in the U.S. Navy.

Frank is survived by his wife, Eva (Pat); 5 children, Terri (Dave) Forehand, Todd (Sylvie) Cockrell, Lynn (James) Brahos, Tricia Cockrell, Eva (Randy) Prohosky, 9 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren, 1 brother, Norman (Alice) Cockrell, 1 sister, Helen Weimer.  He was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Mary Lou Fox and Marilyn Anthony and one grandchild, Renee Prohosky. 

Friends are invited to visit with the family on Monday, September 15, 2008 from 4:00 until 8:00 PM at the Boersma Funeral Home, 90 East Grove Street, Wheatfield, Indiana.  Services will be held on Tuesday, September 16, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at the Boersma Funeral Home with Pastor Kathie Hostetter officiating.  Interment will take place in Graceland Cemetery, Valparaiso.
