Gary Lee Whitaker

61 year old, Gary Lee Whitaker of Wheatfield, passed away November 29, 2012.

On October 17, 1951, Gary was born to Dyral and Joan (nee: Gulbransen) Whitaker in Rensselaer, Indiana. Gary was a lifetime area resident who enjoyed life, his family and friends. Gary worked at Tri-State Steel and Sandy Pines Golf Course for many years.

Gary is survived by his sisters: Robin (Paul) Renn and Kimberly (Aven) Burgess and brother: Craig (Terri) Whitaker and numerous nieces & nephews.

Gary is preceded in death by his parents.

Friends are invited to visit with the family on Tuesday, December 4, 2012 from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the Boersma Funeral Home, 90 East Grove St., Wheatfield, Indiana. Services for Gary will take place on Tuesday, December 4, 2012 at 7:30 p.m. with Pastor Ken Craig officiating. Interment will take place on Wednesday, December 5, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. graveside at the Wheatfield Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the Wheatfield Chamber Park Fund.
