Genine Patrick

79 year old, Genine Patrick of Wheatfield, passed away August 24, 2018 at VNA hospice center.

On January 16, 1939, in Salyersville, Kentucky Genine was born to Beecher and Gustava (Carty) McCarty. Genine enjoyed being a housewife, and cooking, she worked for Little Company of Mary, Gilbert’s, Chet’s, the bowling alley, and drove school bus for many years.

Genine is survived by her family: Charles Patrick Sr., children: Diane (Mike) Cleveland, Charles ‘Bub’ (Cindy) Patrick, Beth (Bryan) Burke, 15 grandchildren, and 21 great-grandchildren, 2 brothers: Roy & Junior and 5 sisters: Mary, Rose, Barb, Nita and Jackie.

Genine was preceded in death by her parents, daughter: Sandy, granddaughter: Megan, 5 brothers and 2 sisters.

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Monday, August 27, 2018 at Boersma Funeral Home, 90 E. Grove St., Wheatfield. Services for Genine will take place at Oak Grove Primitive Baptist Church at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, August 28, 2018 with Pastor Thurman Ritchie officiating. Interment will follow at the Oak Grove Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the family.
