George Smith

87 year old, George E. Smith, of Wheatfield, passed away January 4, 2021 at White Oak Health Campus, Monticello.

George was born on December 7, 1933, in Monroe, Tennessee, to George and Betty (Garrett) Smith. George married the love of his life, Jessie ‘Jo’ Warden, on July 11, 1959, in Crown Point, Indiana. George was a salesman, who owned and operated Smith Motors in Wheatfield.

George is survived by his children: Greg (Deborah Hayes) Smith, Darrell (Connie) Smith, and Michelle Smith.

George was preceded in death by his wife: Jessie ‘Jo’, and his parents.

Per George’s wishes cremation will take place.
