Grace Marlatt

86 year old, Grace Marlatt of Wheatfield, passed away May 19, 2010.

On July 20, 1923 Grace was born to Watson and Anna (nee: DeHaan) Terpstra in DeMotte, Indiana. Grace was a member of the Class of 1941 of DeMotte High School. Grace married Deloss Marlatt on September 23, 1942. Grace was a homemaker and a member of the Full Gospel Tabernacle.

Grace is survived by her children: David (Marcella) Marlatt, Diana (Sam) Wayne, Delos James (Lisa) Marlatt, Daryl (Karen) Marlatt and daughter-in-law, Frances Marlatt. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, 2 step-grandchildren, and 3 step-great-grandchildren. Grace is also survived by her brother Walt (Carol) Terpstra, and sister, Elaine (Don) Walther.

Grace was preceded in death by her husband: Delos Marlatt, son: Dale Marlatt, parents: Watson and Anna Terpstra, brothers: Steve, Al, Marvin, and Kenneth and sisters: Annette, and Berniece.

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 1:00 until 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 22, 2010 at Boersma Funeral Home, 90 East Grove St., Wheatfield, Indiana. Services for Grace will take place at the funeral home at 4:00 p.m. with Pastor Roger Sculley officiating. Interment will take place at the Wheatfield Cemetery.
