Grover Howard Jr.

66 year old, Grover Howard Jr., of Winamac passed away November 16, 2016 at his home with his loving family around him.

On March 1, 1950, Grover was born in Salyersville, Kentucky to Grover Sr. and Maultee (Whitaker) Howard. Grover was a union laborer for the local #41 for 23 years. He married Eva Bailey on November 19, 2001 in Medaryville.

Grover is survived by his loving family: wife: Eva, children: Michelle Howard-Williams, Rodney (Robyn) Howard, Gregory (Cara) Howard, Toby (Jaymee) Howard, 18 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, sisters: Juanita Denham, Rachel George, brothers: Alex (Sandy) Howard, Amiel (LaVonna) Howard, and Steve (Emily) Howard.

Grover was preceded in death by is first wife: Doris Huffman-Howard, daughter: Kelly Howard, son: Anthony Howard, and his parents.

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 3:00 until 7:00 p.m. (CST) on Sunday, November 20, 2016 at the Boersma Funeral Home, 90 East Grove St., Wheatfield, Indiana. Services for Grover will take place at 10:00 a.m. (CST) on Monday, November 21, 2016 at the United Baptist Church of Gilliam Township with Pastor Johnny Miller officiating. Interment will follow at the Independence Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the United Baptist Church of Gilliam Township.
