Haulie 'Crow' Messer

82 year old, Haulie ‘Crow’ Messer, of Medaryville, passed away January 24, 2025, at George Ade Memorial Health Care Center, in Brook, Indiana.

 On May 12, 1942, Haulie was born to Kelley and Bertha (Shepard) Messer, in Knott County, Kentucky. He worked as a Laborer for the Union Local 81. Haulie enjoyed hunting, fishing, and watching television.

Haulie is survived by his nieces and nephews.

Haulie was preceded in death by his parents, and siblings: Grover Messer, Paul Messer, Silas Messer, Mary Lane, Hazel Ritchie, Therman Messer, Rudolph Messer, Inez Hale, Jasper Messer, Herschel Messer, Jewel Owens, and Opal Wallace.

Per Haulie’s wishes cremation will take place.

A graveside service will be held at the Oak Grove Cemetery at a later date.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
