77 year old, Henry Walma Jr., of Wheatfield, passed away May 3, 2024, at his home, with his loving family around him.
On October 3, 1946, Henry was born to Henry A. and Jesse (Boomers) Walma, in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Henry graduated in 1964, and then went to college. He also served in the U.S. Army. He worked for GRC Enterprises in accounting and was a general manager. He married the love of his life, Tamara Owens, on June 23, 1972, in Big Rapids, Michigan. Henry was a car enthusiast, he was a classic car enthusiast, and attending the Sandhill Crane Festival, until a few years ago. He has a Coca-Cola Bug, and a 1964 pagoda green mustang. He enjoyed attending fund raisers for the American Legions and VFWs. In 2013, he was Best of Show at Band Car Show.
Henry is survived by his loving family: wife: Tamara, children: Shane Walma (special friend: Laurie Reed), Sarah (Wayne) Druelinger, 6 grandchildren: Blake (Tieg), Mitchell, Gracelyn, Natalie, Anthony, and Alexis, and 1 great-granddaughter: Thessaly, and siblings: Catherine Deible, Sharon Dean, Thomas (Sharon) Walma, and John (Mary) Walma.
Henry was preceded in death by his parents.
Per Henry’s wishes cremation will take place.
