Ireva L. Jones

79 year old, Ireva L. Jones, of Wheatfield, passed away December 11, 2009.

On March 3, 1930, Ireva was born to Milford A. and Bessie J. (nee: Engle) Robbins in Tefft, Indiana. She graduated from Tefft High School. She married Jessie Ray Jones on December 2, 1948. Ireva was a lifetime area resident who enjoyed being a homemaker.

Ireva, is survived by her children: Rick & Kendra Jones, Sherry & Bill Powell, Rex Jones, Christine Jones, and Yvonne & Bob Kearney, 15 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren. Also surviving are 2 brothers: Ivan Robbins and Terry Robbins, 1 sister: Donna Robbins.

Ireva was preceded in death by her, husband, one son Bob, 4 brothers, Ralph, Lloyd, Merrill, and Robert, 2 sisters, Jaunita Marshall and Carol Bailey.

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, December 14, 2009, at Boersma Funeral Home, 90 East Grove St., Wheatfield, Indiana. Services will take place on Tuesday, December 15, 2009, at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Roger Sculley officiating. Interment will take place at the Wheatfield Cemetery.
