14 year old, Isabelle Anna Geise, of Rensselaer, passed away at her home on April 29, 2026.
On April 28, 2012, Isabelle was born to Michael Geise and Elena (Waechter) Geise, in East Chicago, Indiana. She attended Rensselaer Middle School. Isabelle participated in Fendig Summer Theater, the school choir, and was a member of the Illiana Yacht Club. She was an avid reader, and Keeper of the Lost Cities was her absolute favorite series. Isabelle was an exceptional artist who enjoyed sketching, painting, and clay sculpting. She enjoyed cosplaying and collecting anime figures. She loved being by water, whether she was swimming, fishing, or hanging out on a boat. She was a true animal lover, especially her cats and her parakeet “Niko.” She filled her home with joy when she sang with her siblings. Isabelle was a kindhearted and empathetic girl. She was so open and trusting and had endless talent and curiosity. She had the whole world ahead of her and was destined to do great things.
Isabelle is survived by her loving family: parents, Elena (Waechter) Geise and Michael and Kirsten Geise, siblings: Katelyn Geise, Madeleine Geise, Elissa Geise, Kaysen Hearod, Ryland Hearod, and Kieryn Hearod, grandparents: Lynn Geise, Klaus and Ulrike Ulrig, Steve and Suzy Schultz, great grandparents: Raymond Schultz, Mary Whitaker, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Isabelle was preceded in death by her grandfather: Michael (Mike) Geise, great grandmothers: Brenda Schultz, Hildegard Tallarek, uncle: James Geise, and cousin: Kimber Schultz
Friends are invited to visit with the family from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 9, 2026, at Boersma Funeral Home, 90 E. Grove St., Wheatfield, Indiana.
The family is requesting people attending the visitation wear pink.
Per Isabelle’s wishes, cremation will follow.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested for the family.
