Jack L. Lawrence

82 year old, Jack L. Lawrence, of Knox passed away August 4, 2023.

On February 16, 1941, Jack was born to Ralph and Louise (Haub) Lawrence in Valparaiso, Indiana. Jack married the love of his life, Shela Barker, on December 12, 1975, in Valparaiso, Indiana. Jack was an Operating Engineer, and a member of the Local #150 for 55 years. Jack enjoyed racing at Rensselaer, and was known as Cowboy Jack.

Jack is survived by his wife: Shela, daughters: Vickie Lawrence, and Lisa Young.

Jack was preceded in death by his parents, infant daughter: Jackie Lynn, and brothers: Bill and Al.

Graveside services will be held on August 10, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at DeMotte Cemetery, DeMotte, Indiana, with Pastor Dave Patterson officiating.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to:

St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital,

Riley's Children's Hospital, or

Boy's Town.
