James R. Burns

56 year old, James R. Burns, of Medaryville, formerly of Hammond, passed away June 13, 2023.

On February 3, 1967, in Evergreen Park, Illinois, James was born to Francis Burns and Barbara (Nevins) Burns. James served in the U.S. Army and was still in the reserves. He worked as a factory worker at Ford, and cutting up steel. James liked drawing, running, riding his bike. James liked to spend time with his friends, loved listening to all kinds of music, The Beatles and hard rock were his favorites.

James is survived by his fur babies: Josie and Ozzy, siblings: Melanie Williams and Steven (Amy) Burns.

Per Jame’s wishes cremation will take place.
