James R. Hicks

82 year old, James R. Hicks of Kniman, passed away at his home on September 11, 2015.

On April 22, 1933, James was born in Huntsville, Kentucky to Silas & Evelyn (Allen) Hicks. James was a Boilermaker for Local 374.

James is survived by his children: Patsy (Ken) Little and David (Sarah) Hicks; grandchildren: Brandon Flowers, Blake Tuohy, Dylan Little, and Carter Hicks; siblings: Raymond, Peggy and Sarah.

James was preceded in death by his parents, and siblings: Silas, Blu, Thelma, Sue, Jean and Mary.

Per James’ wishes cremation has taken place and his ashes will be taken back to Alabama.
