James E Jansma

71 year old, James Elliot Jansma, of Wheatfield, passed away at his home on August 15, 2022.

On November 21, 1950, James was born to William and Norma (Spence) Jansma, in Chicago Heights, Illinois. He served in the U.S. Marine Corp, before returning home. He married Kelley Johnson on December 27, 2009, in Vernon Hills, Illinois. James was a Master Carpenter and worked for his son. He liked to fish, hunt, watch baseball, especially the White Sox. He also like to build things and play cards.

James is survived by his family: wife: Kelley, children: James ‘Jay’ (Liz) Jansma, Jennifer Baker, Olivia Butler, Hannah Butler, and fur baby: Charlie, 9 grandchildren: Jimmy Jr, Mathew, Kane, Mia, & Lacey Jansma, and Justin, Kyla, Ali & Robert Baker, and siblings: Mary (Bill) Wachowski, Lee Jansma, William ‘Bill’ Jansma, Shirl Walters, Lin Sande (Don Stewert).

James was preceded in death by his parents.

Per James’ wishes cremation will take place.
