Janet S. McComb

69 year old, Janet S. McComb of DeMotte, passed away November 9, 2018 at her home with her loving family around her.

On March 20, 1949, Janet was born to Clarence and Gladys (Brown) Eakin in Franklin, Indiana. Janet graduated from DeMotte High School in 1967. She married the love or her life, Russell K. McComb Jr. on December 27, 1969, at the DeMotte United Methodist Church. Janet worked as lunch and recess aides, secretary at the Methodist Church, and office manager at the Hebron Animal Clinic. She was a member of the DeMotte Junior Women’s Club.

Janet is survived by her loving family, husband: Russell, children: Jennifer (Thomas) VanderMeer, Jacqueline (Jeremy) Woolever, Jeffrey McComb, 6 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren.

Janet was preceded in death by her parents.

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 11:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 17, 2018, at the Boersma Funeral Home, 90 E Grove St., Wheatfield, Indiana. Services for Janet will take place at the funeral home on Saturday at 3:00 p.m. with Pastor Jerry Kandel officiating. Graveside services will take place on Monday, November 19, 2018, at the Holland Cemetery.
